China Shares up Slightly in Morning TradeChinese shares were slightly higher in morning trade Friday but dealers said gains could be capped by worries over the domestic economy and a lack of fresh funds coming to the market.

The benchmark Shanghai Composite Index edged up 0.06 percent, or 1.29 points, to 2,022.58.

The Shenzhen Composite Index, which tracks stocks on China’s second exchange, rose 0.14 percent, or 1.40 points, to 1,030.08.
